Vin Diesel beats Fast and Furious co-star Dwayne Johnson to be named Forbes

Vin Diesel, 50, has been named Forbes top-grossing actor of 2017 after his movies amassed an eye-popping, combined $1.6 billion in global ticketing receipts.

The movies he starred in, The Fate of the Furious (grossed $1.2B), Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 ($863.7M), and xXx: Return of Xander Cage ($346.1M).

Vin Diesel, whose real name is Mark Sinclair, beat his Fast and Furious co-star, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, who landed in second place with $1.5 billion but still technically earns more than him.
